He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Waller; his children, Roger Waller and Donna Densky; his parents, John Waller and Gladys McKinney; and his sister Juanita Bunch.

He is survived by: his daughter Connie Armstrong (Bruce Sexton); his grandchildren, Tosha Burdine (T. J.), Amber Lynn (Clay), Jaron Densky (Heather) and Brandon Waller (Kaylee); his great grandchildren, Cole Burdine (Lexi), Carter Burdine, Kate Burdine, Kyle Burdine, Caden Lynn, Eliza Densky, Esme Densky and Lainee Waller; his great great grandchild Charlie Burdine; his sisters, Pat Gilbert (Jack) and Carolyn Carpenter; his nephew Ronnie Jarnagin; his niece Lillian Hogan; and his close friend Brenda Long. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Cherokee Heights Baptist Church for the food pantry and blessing bag ministry.
