He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Seay; his parents, Bruce Seay and Nuckie Seay; his sisters, Vida Myers (John) and Marcella Parham (Pete); his parents-in-law, Lee and Luster Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Pete Johnson, Bill Murray and Wallace Hensley; Calvin Seay.

He is survived by: his son Mike Seay (Denise) of Mosheim; his sibling's children, Milton Parham (Diane) of Mosheim, Marty Parham (Linda) of Mosheim, Danny Myers (Kathy) of Mosheim, David Myers (Kathy) of Greeneville, Cindy Luttrell (Alan) of Greeneville and Beth Ricker (Chris) of Greeneville; and his sisters-in-law, Wilda Jo Murray of Greeneville and Rena Faye Hensley of Greeneville.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hartman's Chapel Church (3497 Old Kentucky Rd W, Mosheim, TN 37818).
