Stella Jean Abbott Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stella Jean Abbott of Mosheim, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stella Jean Abbott to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estil Upchurch and Gertie Upchurch (Slagle); her husband Robert (Sugar); and her siblings, Norman Upchurch, Bill Upchurch, Gladys Whorton, Roy (Christine Abbott), Ralph (Hazel Abbott) and Myrtie Parsley.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Phyllis Upchurch; and her close friend Trenda Denney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Alzheimer's Association or First Methodist Church.
