He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakly Maxwell and Zella Maxwell; his former wife Jesse Jewell Weigel Maxwell; and his brother Horace Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Arleen Reed Maxwell; his children, Scott Maxwell (Cheryl) and Annette Briggs (Michael); his grandsons, Aaron Briggs and Jesse Briggs (Katie); his great grandchild Ethan Briggs; his siblings, Pearl Huffman, Flossie Maxwell, Nelson Maxwell (Shirley) and Alton Maxwell (Debbie); and his cousin Doyle Taubert. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
