He was predeceased by: his parents, French Leach and Betty Rexrode Leach; his wife Lois Ann Ragle Leach; his son-in-law Tony Bellamy; and his siblings, Charlotte Mae, Twolla Virginia, Polly Virginia, William Darell, Anna Lee, Gordon Russell, Nellie Virginia, Pauline Virginia, Mary Jane and French, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, James D. Leach (Sherry Chapman) and Angela Leach Bellamy; his grandsons, Caleb Bellamy, Colton Bellamy and Austin Bellamy; and his siblings, Frank Lee, Paul Rudolph, Joy Ann, Bruce Cleveland, Ethel Margaret and Richard Earnest.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church (550 Independence Ave, Mt Carmel, TN 37645). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:45 PM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
