It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Karen Dorton (Mount Carmel, Tennessee), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Davenport and Ann Davenport; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Geneivieve Dorton; her brothers, Ronnie Davenport and Nick Davenport; her brother-in-law Tommy Dorton; and her niece Beth Davenport.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Dorton; her sons, Harley Dorton (Christy) and Brandon Dorton (Wendi); her stepsons, Scott Dorton (Cathy) and Jason Dorton (Deana); her grandchildren, Maddie, Luke (Ally), Ben and Eli; and her sisters, Cathy, Sandy and Peggy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson - Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
