He was predeceased by : his grandparents, John E, Donna Mae Winegar Ward, Lester and Lula Jones; and his uncle Larry Jones.

He is survived by : his parents, Mack, Sr. Ward and Brenda Ward; his sister Maggie Elizabeth Ward; his aunts and uncles, Barbara Jones, Deborah Jones, Jimmy Jones and Larry Ward (Janie); and his cousins, Anthony Jones (Bridget), Stephen Jones, Bella Jones and Crystal Mitchell (Lamar).
