He is survived by: his parents, Charles Monroe and Aurora Monroe; his wife June Monroe; his children, Lynn Monroe and Steven Monroe; his granddaughter Kylie Monroe; and his sister Margaret Nichols. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
