He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Feddie Burnett and Emma Frances Lynch Burnett; and his siblings, Ernest Burnett, Kay Bryson, Hazel Mitchum and Joyce Strader.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lannom Burnett; his son Thomas Burnett of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandsons, Ethan and Corbin Burnett of Mt. Juliet, TN; and his siblings, Jerry Burnett of Smyrna, TN, Don Burnett (Donna) of Murfreesboro, TN, Shirley Davis of Smyrna, TN and Linda Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lannom Cemetery.
