It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles William Sims (Mount Juliet, Tennessee), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Sims; his son Cary Sims; his mother Clara Reed; his grandmother Maude Reed; his sister Dorothy Lee Swindle (Doby); and his son-in-law JC Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gwen Crow (Dan) and Barrie Smith; his daughter-in-law Karen Sims; his cousin Barbara Jean Howell (Archie); his grandchildren, Lanessa Bueno (Alex), Michelle Smith, Tracy Taylor and Kelly Parrish (Mickey); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Coburn (Cody), Drew Ostrander, Jakob Doster, Kailee Boleyjack, Lucas Bueno, Erin Ostrander, Nina Bueno, Caden Parrish and Gracie Davis.
