He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley Sutton; his parents, John B. Sutton and Grace Sutton; his sons, Wayne and Ricky Sutton; his foster daughter Cindy Shaver (Auld); and his brother Johnny Sutton.
He is survived by: his daughter Ramona "Mona" Sutton; his siblings, Herbert Taylor Sutton, Betty Barrett, Lucy Stephens (Dave), Mary Sue Smith, Janie Smith (Jimmy) and Beverly Graves (Eddie); and his grandchildren, Meredith Jones (Bo), Marlee Duncan (Ethan), Austin Auld (Ali) and Kendyl Shaver. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
