James Bartlett Pemberton Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Bartlett Pemberton Sr. of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Pemberton and Virginia Pemberton; his wife Betty; and his granddaughter Paige Dudney Harshaw. He is survived by: his pets, Bambi and Shadow; his sons, Bart Pemberton (Elizabeth) and Brad Pemberton (Marna); his stepdaughter Diane Dudney (John); his brother Don Pemberton (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Taylor Dudney (Lydia), Jay Pemberton, Will Pemberton and Connell Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Reese and Heath Dudney. He is also survived by his family, friends, and furry companions.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice in honor of Jim Pemberton.
