He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Mac" Howard and Frances Hammond McLean; his former wife Melinda Ann Rice; his brother Randy McLean; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Sherfield.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte McLean; his daughter Ann McLean Massey (Darryl); his grandson Justin Massey; his sisters-in-law, Melissa McMillan (Vic), Linda McLean and Jean Knoch; his nieces and nephews, Caroline McLean Tolleson, Zach McLean, Christopher Sherfield, Amanda Sherfield O-Donovan, Victor McMillan and Thomas McMillan; his grandson Drew; and his nephew Enda O'Donovan. He is also survived by three step-children; and numerous step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association, Breast Cancer Research Foundation or American Lung Cancer Society.
