Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry Ray Smith of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 85, on July 2, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parent Hoyte Brown (H. B.); and his siblings, Dessie Ann Smith and Franky Lynn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Diana Cook Smith; his children, Regina Robinson (Stanley), Joel Smith (Patti), Salena Davidson (Larry) and Jason Smith (LeeVana); his grandchildren, Nicole Haskin (Jeremiah), Jordan Robinson (Kate), Jeremy Smith (Shelby), Marshall Davidson (Selah), Natalie Larkin (Lance), Erin Pasley (Reed), Jonah and Jagger Smith; his stepgranddaughter Hope Duncan (Ronnie); his great grandchildren, Maddie, Lane Evans, Kimber, Jesse Haskin, Lilly, Riley, Harley Robinson and Aislyn Davidson; and his siblings, Edward Smith (Jean), Jimmy Smith (Janice), Jane Hutchings (late James) and Sue McGray (Dwayne). He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Living Springs Baptist Church (4559 Weakley Ln, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Blues Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Diana's continued care through Venmo, or a check to a family member in memory of Jerry.
