He was predeceased by: his parents, David Penton and Cherryl Lee; his stepfather Harvey Lee; his stepbrothers, Eddie and Mike Lee; and his stepson Cody Mattes.
He is survived by: his brother David'Marty'Penton (Kristi); his stepbrothers, Vernon'Bo'Lee (Bonnie) and Jeff Lee; his stepdaughter Cheyene Mattes; his granddaughter Sophia Ritchison; his close friend Mary Davis; his aunts, Loretta Alleman and Barbara Helton (Malcolm); his uncle Mike Penton; and his cousins, Blaine Alleman (Regina), Mandy McFerrin (Jeff), Racheal Penton and Megan Helton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
