He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bee Bay and Ruby Lee McMurtry; his brother Michael Wade Bay; his grandparents, Earl and Edna Bay, Sr.; and his aunts and uncles, Charles Bay, Earl Bay, Jr., Sandra Faye McMurtry, Genevia Bradshaw and Dorothy Reed.
He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Lewis (Damon); his grandson D. J. Lewis; his siblings, Gary Wayne Bay (Becky) and Sandra Elizabeth Hoilman (Frank); and his aunts, Juanita Stephenson and Peggy Bay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
