He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rucker and Alice Thompson Rucker; his wife Marion Gidney; his sons, Harold Rucker Sr. and Lee T. Rucker Jr.; and his siblings, Eberhart, James of Lish, David Vernon, Julian, Bobbie Downer, Willie Sue Banks and Alethia Gaither.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Bourn (Winfred) of Lebanon, Tennessee; his brother Ulyses Rucker of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Jamie Rucker (Jenna), Harold Rucker Jr. (Joi), Deanna Dobbins (William), Alton Johnson, III (Tamara), Gregory Bourn (Jasmyn) and Travis Bourn; his daughters-in-law, Dorothy "Dee" Rucker of Girard and Evonne Rucker of Charlotte; and his brother-in-law Willard Gidney (Michelle) of Youngstown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, neighbors, and lifelong friends.
