He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Baker and Patricia Baker; his daughter Melanie Johnson; and his former wife Cathy Baker. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Baker; his children, Jennifer Baker, Sherilyn Miller (Rodney), Sheldon Baker and Melissa Higgins (John); his grandchildren, Dylan Miller, Madison Higgins, Sophia Higgins, Elijah Johnson, Daisy Bryant, Kaitlyn Harris and Jenny Johnson; his brother Wilbur Eugene Baker; his sibling's children, David Baker and Kelly Harris; his niece-in-law Gaylene; his close friend Issac Lewis (Teresa); and his sons-in-law, Andy Johnson (Kaylah) and Brandon Bryant (Caitlin). He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sellars Funeral Home (2229 N Mt Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens W. (654 W Division St, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122).
