With sadness, we share the passing of Wanda Gay Edwards Humfeld (Mount Juliet, Tennessee). Wanda, born on December 30, 1939, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Epps Edwards, Sr. and Erlene Davis McPeak Edwards; her husband Kenneth L. Humfeld; her son Michael Humfeld; and her siblings, Thomas Edwards, Bennie Lee Edwards, Hiram Epps "Junior" Edwards, Jr., William Davis "Will Davis" Edwards, Pauline, Lorene Edwards, Edna E. Comer and Juanita Edwards Burlason Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Dillon of Ballwin, MO; and her siblings, Cecil Edwards (Ernesteen) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Leon Edwards of Pegram, TN and Gloria Mai Edwards Swanner (Bobbie June Edwards Nabors). She is also survived by four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and three great-step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Living Springs Baptist Church (4559 Weakley Ln, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Lannom Cemetery.
