She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace "Dick" Lindsey and Myrtle Catherine Lemay Lindsey; her son John Lee Kennedy; and her brother-in-law Jeff David Kennedy. She is survived by: her husband Joel Lee Kennedy; her daughter Mary Beth Lovett (Brian) of Mt. Pleasant; her brother Richard Lindsey (Diane) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Mary Catherine Lovett (Luke Terry), Jason Edward Lovett, Ashtin, Preston and Maggie Lacy; her siblings-in-law, Terry Kennedy (Tamara) and Sharon Kennedy; and her nephews, Anthony Lindsey (Rachel), Jeff Kennedy (Whitney), Matthew Kennedy (Sonya), Dan Kennedy (Laura) and Adam Kennedy.
