He is survived by: his father Donnie Garrett; his wife Judy Garrett; his son Steve Riggins (Brayden Gray); his daughter-in-law Karen Riggins; his siblings, Kevin Garrett and Donna Kay Smith (Mike) of Clarkrange, Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Howard Davis (Brenda) and Cindy Crigger; and his pet Larson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - Mt Pleasant (819 N Main St, Mt Pleasant, TN 38474). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Maury Regional Cancer Center in memory of Dodd.
