He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennet Allen Davis and Isy Lee Downey Davis; his mother-in-law Mary Dodson; and his granddaughter Ashley Cheek. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Jean Davis (Winchester); and his children, Edwin Davis, Lane Davis (Kim), Terri Bean, Carter Cheek (Melissa), Scott Cheek (Amber) and Kyle Cheek (Lynette).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made In Austin's honor to Locust Street Church of Christ Mt. Pleasant, TN or to plant a tree in his honor.
