It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Gail Parson Marshall of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Margaret Gail Parson shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Margaret Gail Parson farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Edith Pitts Parson. She is survived by: her close friend Richard Earl Marshall; her sons, Richard Earl "Richie" Marshall II (Melanie) and Jeremy Brent Marshall (Tammy); her grandsons, Colton E. Marshall, Richard Ty Marshall (Maddie Tate) and Jeremy Ray "J. R." Marshall; and her stepgrandchildren, Keanndra Wood, Sekantra Clark and Alexander Clark.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Polk Memorial Gardens (6465 Trotwood Ave, Columbia, TN 38401).
