It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Hickman (Mount Pleasant, Tennessee), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Melissa Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Melissa Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Hickman of Ethridge and Miranda "Hickman" Higgens of Pulaski, Tennessee; her grandson Drake Hickman of Loretto, Tennessee; and her brothers, Gary Colvett (Sue Townsend) of Lynnville and Kenneth Colvett. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
