He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dale Baker, Sr. and Amy Lee Jacobs Baker; and his brothers-in-law, William Rainey and Clayton Russell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Keener Baker of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter Kim Melton (Fred) of Columbia; his sisters, Gladys Rainey of Franklin, Rachel Russell of Columbia, Alice Shaw (Larry) of Columbia and Ruby Rainey (Tandy) of Rockvale; and his grandsons, David Melton and Noah Melton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
