He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Ulysses and Gertie; and his siblings, Perry, Herman, Franklin Miller, Myrtle Stacy and Beulah McCall.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Miller, Darlene Dunlap (Dale) and Ronnie Miller (Myra); his grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Erin), Scott Johnson (Beth), Tim Miller (Jordan), David Johnson, Ashley Miller and Shane Miller; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Ian, Ari, Zoey, Maxwell, Brody, Ryann, Charleigh, Kayla, Emma, Emmanuel, Gabrielle, Elisha, Esaias, Brantley, Lincoln and Ariel; and his sisters, June Kennedy, Maxine Keen and Edith Diaz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain City, TN 37683).
