He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis J. Taylor and Gladys Taylor; and his siblings, Joyce Taylor and Kenny Taylor. He is survived by : his stepchildren, Buffy Wachman of Madison, Alabama and Anthony McCure of Madison, Alabama; his brothers, Louis Taylor of Texas and Carl Taylor of Knoxville, Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Reed of Damascus, Virginia and Kenny Lowe of Johnson City, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Logan Delp, Cierra Carle and Sutton Carle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Buford Lipford Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683).
