He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Canter and Hazel McFadden Canter; his wife Roseann Mains Canter; and his brother Donald Canter. He is survived by: his children, Linda Wilson (Mike), Bonnie Lunsford (Mark), Bobbie Dillard (Kevin), Lacey Canter (Daniel) and Bobby Jr. (Tasha); and his siblings, Linda Cogar (Tom), Janet Leary (William) and Jeff Canter. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins and all of his friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (999 Honeysuckle St, Mountain City, TN 37683).
