We bid farewell to Carl David Daye Sr. (Mountain City, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 19, 2025 at the age of 77. Carl David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe Lambert and Irene Daye Lambert; his daughters, Lisa Swift and Susan Ibarra; his granddaughter Eden Rayne Daye; and his sister Susan A. Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Bays and Carl D. Daye Jr. (Trish); his sisters, Patty Harris and Angie Sifford (Roy); his grandchildren, Kimmy Carlson, Cody Carlson, Christie Swift, Emily Ibarra, Alexa, Austin Bradley, Kayla Freeman (Garrett), Katlie Armes and Adesia Armes; his son-in-law Angel Ibarra; and his close friends, Jeffery, Cindy Pass, Patsy Gentry and Monica Burgess. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
