As Cindy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Cindy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Cindy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Edward Roark and Ellen Geraldene Reynolds Roark; her husband Horace Shelton Patterson, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Regina Roark and Rick Tugman.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Patterson Smithey (Richard Joseph Smithey); her godson Christian Parker; and her siblings, Kathy Miller (David), Lisa Adams (Danny), Joyce Tugman and Dennis Roark. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
