He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McElyea and Marie McElyea; his brother-in-law Lewis Wilson; and his nephews, Brad Dunn and Johnny Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy McElyea; his children, Angela Campbell (David) and Chris McElyea (Elizabeth); his sisters, Kathy Dunn (Paul), Sheila Story (Steve) and Linda Wilson; his grandchildren, Annie McElyea, Camden, Gavin Carico, Wyatt Campbell and Ben Campbell; his nephews, Matt Story, Scotty and Jason Johnson; his niece Bethany Allen; and his pet Nikki.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
