She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stump (Kevey) and May Stump Duncan; her stepfather Carl Duncan; the father of her children Howard Junior Hicks; and her siblings, Charles Stump (C. W.), Noah Stump, Drucella Stump and Evelyn Stump Caldwell (Sissie).
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Hicks, Sirena Hicks (Eddie), Wayne "Bucky" Hicks, Robin Hicks and Shane Mabe; her grandchildren, Uvette Kimberlin, Cody Pierce and Noah Carroll; her great grandchildren, Skylar Dowell, Laura K., Makaela Shane Mabe, Bentley Carroll and Ellie Mae Carroll; her sisters, Valarie Owens of Bedford, VA and Gayneil Stump of Roanoke, VA; her nieces, Melisa Owens of Bedford, VA, Monica Wilson of Glade Hill, VA, Nita Caldwell of Roanoke, VA and Patricia; her sister Norma Reynolds of Moneta, VA; her sisters-in-law, Hazel Fritts, Ruby McGinnis and Rosie Allie; and her close friends, Tasha Hutchins, Berry Dunn, Jenny Berry, Linda May Williams, Nancy Campbell, Belinda, Jerry Lee, Lorraine, Jim, Betty McGinnis, Helen, Ed Morefield, Jamie and Rob Greeson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012).
