He was predeceased by : his parents, William C. Davis of Damascus, VA and Kate Snyder Davis of Shady Valley, TN. He is survived by : his wife Wanda Mullins Davis; his son John (Terri); his granddaughters, Kelly and Holly Davis; and his brother Morris Davis. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church (5950 Hwy 67 W, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
