It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Henson (Mountain City, Tennessee), born in Banner Elk, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Lewis and Opal Lewis. She is survived by : her husband Gary Henson; her son Joshua Alan Price (Michelle); her sister Wanda Greer (Jerry); her granddaughters, Olivia Dixon and Helen Dixon; her niece Shawna Greer; her great-nephew Ryan Smith; her cousin Joanie Lowe; and her close friend Meagan Stevans. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
