We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Larry P. Wilson of Mountain City, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gar B. Wilson and Paris Sunshine Powell Wilson; his brothers, Harold and Dan Wilson; and his friend Jim Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Crowder Wilson; his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Mike Gillespie of Gray, Tennessee; his son Jeff Wilson of Limestone, Tennessee; his sisters, Evelyn Wilson Hill of Mountain City, Tennessee and Carolyn Wilson Hawkins (Bliss Hawkins) of Mountain City, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Emmerson Gillespie, Reagan Gillespie and Cooper Gillespie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to The Crumley House in Limestone, TN.
