He was predeceased by: his parents, John Milton Fritts and Dorothy Crete Simcox; his wife Alma Ruth Lewis Fritts; and his brothers, Kenneth Edwin Fritts and Malcolm Glen Fritts.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Fritts Miller (Bob) of Elizabethton, TN and Troy Fritts (Kristin) of Altamonte Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Holly Bishop of Jonesborough, TN, Travis Bishop (Sarah) of Elizabethton, TN, Lacey Lepick (Thomas) of Meridian, MS, Courtney Fritts of Denver, CO, Kyle Cattaneo of Chicago, IL and Jorie Cattaneo of Altamonte Springs, FL; and his great grandchildren, Kayley Rhinehart, Mackenzie Bishop, Memphis Lepick, Kennedy Lepick, Maddox Bishop, Paisley Lepick, Brooklyn Lepick, Easton Bishop and Hudson Lepick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
