With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lee Johnson (Mountain City, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2026 at the age of 71. In the sacred silence of farewell, Lee is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Johnson and Arline Johnson; and his granddaughter Sarah Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Johnson; his daughters, Michelle Peplinski (Edward) and Jennifer Bidding (Nick); his siblings, Nancy Taussig, Kenneth Johnson, William H. Johnson and Thomas Johnson; and his grandchildren, Emily Peplinski, Benjamin Bidding and Kyle Christian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
