He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Esther Blevins Johnson; his son Michael Lionel Johnson; and his sister Loretta Weaver. He is survived by: his wife DeLois "Brenda" Johnson; his granddaughter Kendra Johnson Blachly; his great grandchild Finn Blachly; his granddaughter Emma Fowler; his children-in-law, Melissa Fowler and Tom Fowler; and his siblings, Denver Johnson (Bernice) and Lorene Powers (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to an animal rescue/shelter of the donor's choice or to MediHome Health & Hospice, West Jefferson, NC.
