Mae Johnson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mae Johnson of Mountain City, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mae Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralston Levi Jones and Verda Allen Jones; her husband Cecil Johnson; her grandson Johnny Johnson; her siblings, JD Jones, Farris Jones, Mary Bell Blevins and Patsy Lewis; her nephew Tommy Blevins; and her niece Avis Price.

She is survived by: her son Keith Johnson (Debra) of Mtn; her grandchildren, Melissa Newstat (Dave) of Medford Lakes and Jason Johnson of Mtn; her stepgrandchildren, Seth Whisenant, Brandy Keller, Crystal Mahala and Leeanne Mahala; her siblings, Johnny Jones (Maggie) of Mtn and Arzella Roush of Mtn; her sisters-in-law, Norma Jones and Carnie Duffield; her cousin Mary Lee Maloney; and her close friends, Mary Dunn, Donna Monforty, Grace Osborne and Susie Wilson. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Saint Jude's.
