She was predeceased by : her parents, John Worley Norris and Nannie May Church Norris; and her husband Alden Carroll Porter. She is survived by : her sons, Scotty Porter of Trade, TN and Johnny Porter (Janie) of Trade, TN; her sisters, Earlina Revera, Wilma Dowell of Mountain City, TN and Alice DeHart; and her close friends, Magdalana and Dave Dickens. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
