He is survived by: his wife Lisa Roop; his stepchildren, Amanda Attaway and Kenny Roark; his siblings, Carl Roop, Robert Roop, Christine Mullins and Sharon Proctor; his grandchildren, Mason, Elena Attaway, Robert, Nick, Alexa, Sara and Ryan Roark; his great grandchild Bellamy; and his father-in-law Robert Chappell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain City Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
