He was predeceased by: his parents, Leila Gertrude Butler Lowe and Charles C. Lowe; and his wife Emily Lowe. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Lowe Beach (Johnny); his granddaughter Aggie Beach of Morganton, N. C; his friend Lynn Shupe of Mountain City; and his cousin Mona Butler Alderson.

In honor of his love for animals, donations in memory of Bob may be made to Rescue Dog and End of Life Sanctuary of Mountain City.
