She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby Roark and Julie Roark; the father of her children Robert Branson; her children, Bobby Branson, Skylar Branson and Darlene Blakely; her grandchild Jamie Branson; and her siblings, Ozel Shelton, Opal Shelton, Virgie Self, Louise Henry, Ed Roark, Arlis Roark, Ralph Roark, Clarence Roark and Joe Roark.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Branson, Angela Seekamp, Diane Honeycutt, Melody Branson, Michael Branson and Logan Branson; and her close friend Dale Brown. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mountain City Funeral Home (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mountain City Funeral Home.
