She was predeceased by : her parents, Eli Denny and Lealer Denny; her husband Bart Morefield; her children, Jack Morefield and Cindy Taylor; her grandchildren, Joseph Bart Morefield and Sheena Michelle Morefield; and her siblings, Dub, Robert, Wayne, Delmer Denny, Della Bogus and Ellie Taylor.

She is survived by : her son Mike Morefield (Beulah) of Granite Falls, NC; her children-in-law, Jean Morefield of Mountain City and Jim Taylor of Mountain City; her brother Cliff Denny of North Wilkesboro, NC; her grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Taylor (Savannah), Billy Morefield (Diana), Michael Taylor (Misty), Michael Clay Morefield, David Taylor and Deirdre Morefield; her great grandchildren, Natalyi Taylor, Emily Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Joseph Morefield (Tonya), Makayla Moody, Sophia Moody, Weston Ferguson, Sadie Ferguson and Kynlee Gentry; and her great great grandchild Jackson Morefield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
