He is survived by: his wife Judy Wallace; his children, Debra Phillips (Joey), Kim Wilson (Brian), Tammy West (Ronnie) and Chris Payne (Pam); his sister Joyce Stephens; his grandchildren, Sawyer Phillips (Candace), Silas Phillips and Samuele Wilson (Abby); his great grandchild Stetson Wilson; his niece Jo Evelyn Roop; his great-nephew Heath Roop (Chelsea); Layla, Bellamy and Emerson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roan Creek Baptist Church (639 Lumpkin Branch Rd, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
