She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Bates and Betty Jo Bates (Berry); her husband Thomas "Tommy" Coker; her children, Patricia Austin and Nathaniel Coker; and her siblings, Bobby Bates and Terry Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Coker (Caroline), David Barnett (Rachel), John Barnett (Amy) and Brittany Farrar (Tim); her son-in-law Terry Austin; her grandchildren, Emily (Coleton), Lexis, Bentley, Ty, Shelby, Ellie, Matthew, MaKayla, Josh (Kirsten), Ashlee, Zachary, Haley, Carter Bradley (Sarah), Joshua, Weston and Bryson; and her great grandchildren, Amelia "Belle", Jaxon, Lilliann, Kayson, Jasper and Everly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
