She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey Dowell; her children, Reggie Dowell and Selina Dowell; and her grandson Kentavius Dowell. She is survived by: her children, LaSandra Siddell, Angie Dowell, Belinda Crawford, Belonda Dowell, Felecia Dowell, Aubrey Dowell Jr. and Sherman Dowell; her siblings, Kip Fleming, Marvin Fleming, Teresa Lemons, Olivia Lemons, Nancy Williams and Tiffany Lemons; her sisters-in-law, Doris Dowell and Linda Douglas; her uncles, James Fleming Jr., Benny Larry Fleming and Author Fleming; and her aunt Louise Fleming. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark A. M. E. Church (842 Tipton Rd, Munford, TN 38058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the St. John Community Cemetery (1998 Atoka Idaville Rd, Atoka, TN 38004).
