He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie (Craig); his daughter Tanya Lynn Wellman; and his siblings, Carol (Boynton), Mary (Bowman), Paul Schroer, Philip Schroer and Dave Schroer.
He is survived by: his son Larry Schroer (Anita); his stepson Robert Shears; his grandchildren, Angela Andrews (Mark) and Jason Hickey (Genna); and his son-in-law Wally Wellman. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donation may be made in his memory to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 2000 N Germantown Pkwy, Cordova, TN 38016.
