He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Hathcock; his son Lee Hathcock; his parents, Randall Carl and Myrtle Hathcock; and his siblings, Mary Alsbrook, R. C. Hathcock, Bill Hathcock and John Hathcock.
He is survived by: his son Terrell Layton Hathcock; and his grandchildren, Millie Rose Harvey (Max), Maci Hathcock, Tera Hathcock, Timothy Hathcock, Benjamin Layton Hathcock and Brandon Hathcock.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Munford Funeral Homes - Munford Chapel (1136 Tipton Rd, Munford, TN 38058). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Helen Crigger Cemetery (246 Beaver Rd, Munford, TN 38058).
