He is survived by: his wife Melissa Perry; his sons, Ricky Hatchel, Kevin Hatchel and Gary Gatlin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Autumn Hatchel, Miley Stokes, Brayden Hatchel, Bryson Hatchel, Waylon Hatchel, Owen Gatlin, Evelyn Gatlin and Isla Gatlin; his great grandchild Adalyn Hatchel; his parents, William Thomas Perry and Mary Ann Perry; and his siblings, Melinda Triplett, James Perry, Jimmy Perry and Robert Perry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Munford Funeral Home - Munford (1136 Tipton Rd, Munford, TN 38058). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Randolph Cemetery (215 McClerkin Rd, Burlison, TN 38015).
